Climbing in Watford
Adult taster sessions take place every week on Tuesdays between 4 and 5pm, and Saturdays between 2.30 and 3.30pm. A one hour session costs £20. Adult induction sessions take place weekly on Tuesdays between 6 and 8pm and Wednesdays between 12 and 2pm. These 2 hour sessions cost £30. For juniors between 8 and 12 years old, the weekly sessions run on Wednesdays between 4 and 5.30pm and Saturdays between 10 and 11.30pm. Cost per child is £7. For juniors between 10 and 17 years old, the weekly sessions run on Wednesdays between 5.30 and 7.30pm and Saturdays between 11.30 and 1.30pm, and cost £8.60 per child.

Bushey & Borehamwood Sub-Aqua Club has enjoyed teaching people to dive for over thirty years. We are affiliated to the British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC) but we welcome divers from any other organisation. We meet every Thursday at the Bushey Grove Leisure Centre pool, where we can teach you everything you need to know to become a qualified diver. We use our club house here at the Lincolnsfield for theory instruction and social events.

Water: Calm and Tempest
This new exhibition of paintings at Bushey Museum and Art Gallery show artists’ responses to water in some 40 works of art. Essential to life, water makes up over half the surface of our planet. In practice it has been used for power, transport and pleasure. Artists have always been fascinated by its action whether waves crashing, in motion or reflections in the mirror-like surface of still water. These are the themes of the artists exhibited, all of whom have an association with Bushey and its environs. The exhibition is at Bushey Museum in Rudolph Road until the end of September 2010.
