HOT NEWS for Children, Families and The Community of North Watford!
Do you need activities for your child after school?
Want something to do in the summer holidays?
Want to learn a new skill?
By now you will have probably seen the North Watford Extended Schools (NWES) logo on your schools newsletter or on posters around the community.
The NWES Consortium is made up of the 17 schools in the North Watford area. Those schools are all working together to offer a wide range of services and activities to children, their families and the wider community. Activities happen beyond the school day and even on weekends and are designed to cater for the needs of children and their families.
We work with local and community partners to make sure that services are affordable and accessible. We also work with neighboring consortiums in order to provide the most amounts of services possible.
The aim of Extended Services is to provide children with a demand led varied menu of after school activities; parenting support and advice; affordable childcare before and after school; local community activities and referral to specialist support for children.
