Its the time of year when I constantly carry homeopathic remedies for hay fever, and patients are always surprised at how quickly they can work. Right now I am also prescribing remedies to relieve overheating.

What can we treat? The answer is many conditions that doctors do. Just a few include female hormonal imbalance from the pill, at puberty or menopause problems, bereavement support , weight loss, inability to sleep or get past an emotional trauma, stopping smoking, eczema and other skin conditions, pregnancy support, cystitis, hay fever, allergies to most things including pets, and supporting patients undergoing chemotherapy or other treatments.

I particularly enjoy working with the elderly who can benefit greatly. It is gentle, safe to use and can offer long term relief rather than masking the symptoms. Each treatment is unique because we all are. The remedies are chosen for you after a thorough consultation.

I am often asked about the costs. Once the consultation has taken place and remedies dispensed, you could well discover you save against buying from the chemist. There is generally a longer first appointment to take the history, then one or more to follow up a month or so later, depending on the condition. Remedies are usually included in the cost, creams are an additional charge.
