In our editorial, we asked readers to give us their opinion on the best pub around. If you haven't told us yet, then drop an email to the editor with your opinion and we'll publish it here.
Here are the responses we received in the first week after publication. Keep those recommendations coming - we'll be updating this page regularly and adding a map to show the location of the pubs you recommend.
Retiree John from North Watford voted The Horns as the best pub in Watford. He says: "The Horns has a great atmosphere, friendly staff, a great cellar and their live music nights are incredible. What's more, they look after the smokers with their large covered and heated outside area."
Debbie, a designer from Oxhey Village said: Hiya, For the Best Pub Around has to the Villiers Arms, 108 Villiers Rd Watford WD19 4AJ. Warmest welcome to all, dogs allowed, amazing customers just perfect. Please go and see.
George, self-employed from Oxhey says "my vote goes to the Olde Greene Manne on Batchworth Heath. I know it's a bit out of Watford, but it's friendly, the beer's very reasonable, they've got a great menu and they look after us smokers really well with heated parasols and a special "smokers' shack". It's got a huge garden too, so it's good for summer or winter. Hope it qualifies - 'cos it's well worth the trip!
Champions Bar on St Albans Road gets the vote from Maggie - ''I've been going there for years and met my partner there when we were barmaids.'' Handy after a shop, very friendly crowd, great range of lager.
Jim, a Caterer from Bushey Heath thinks his local - The Black Boy is best pub around. ''Especially since the latest publican took over - they go the extra mile''
