Don’t paint the walls in garnish colours, however much you love them. We all have differing taste and remember that you want to appeal to everyone who walks into your home. Some colours make rooms feel dark and smaller. Be careful when picking your neutral paints, some have cool, pinky or yellow clashing undertones. Make sure you choose wisely or you will achieve the wrong effect. - If you’ve got it – flaunt it
If you’re lucky enough to have great views or a pretty garden, make the most of them by removing the nick-nack’s from the windowsills, clean your windows and frame the view with curtains, well drawn back.
