WELCOME

Welcome to my second issue of the FLEA. This is a tense time for those who are about to take, or are half way through taking their exams. Flea wishes you all much success with your revision and Good Luck with your exams! If exam nerves get the better of you why not call Hypnotherapist Christine Black, as well as ‘confident childbirth’ she can specifically target those exam nerves and may be able to help. You'll find Christine inside this issue.

School is so very different from when I attended. It seems more approachable, more interactive. Initiatives such as the Extended Schools program (more inside) are making available to children, their parents and the schools, events such as football coaching, Italian cooking and first aid and a whole lot more besides. School trips such as Lincolnsfields World War II evacuation experience, are worlds away from what used to be available. Have you been to Lincolnsfields and a visit the 40s house yet? Why not read about iconic local Head Teacher, Dave Bent, in our new feature ‘Coffee Break’ …. it would appear that even Head Teachers can show their soft side!
