The Old Town Hall

Old Town Hall Logo

The Old Town Hall spring season is almost here...

... wedged between the long running snow show that was last winter and what we hope will be a lazy, hazy hot World Cup summer -- class, comedy and anarchy will reign this season.

There’s Ella - the moving and enthralling story of the incomparable jazz legend Ella Fitzgerald, written and performed by Sandi Russell; Sherlock Holmes... The Last Act! - yet another mesmerising performance from Roger Llewellyn following his highly successful show last year; and Eric’s Tales Of The Sea - breathtaking, poignant, suspenseful and hilarious - “a store of charm as deep as the ocean” (The Guardian).

Comedy is plentiful this season with The Treason Show, Screaming Blue Murder, Leicester Comedy Festival and the hit shows Gusset and Mr & Mrs - an unmissable show for partners everywhere.

Die Roten Punkte, one of the top 20 must see shows of the Edinburgh Fringe 2009, blows into the Old Town Hall in May. Described as irreverent and hilarious, you may never look at pop stars the same way again. If you are a fan of The Mighty Boosh and Flight of the Conchords, then this is the show for you!

All this AND the return of Snake Davis, who sold out in record time last year - a feat he will no doubt repeat in 2010.

This unmissable season start on the 17th April. Find out more at www.oldtownhall.co.uk.
