Britains Got Bhangra takes you on a colourful, insightful journey into the fascinating world of Bhangra music. This fantastic piece of theatre follows the rise of British Bhangra music from the cringey tunes of the 80s to the cooler sounds featured in todays charts.
The Bollywood style musical chronicles the tale of Twinkle, a singing native from Punjab who arrives in a grey 80's England with a lot of naivety and talent. From just the opening alone, you will be immersed in a story that will have you jumping out of your seats, clapping and screaming with gusto during the curtain call.
Fun for all the family and hugely entertaining, Britains Got Bhangra has something for everybody; comedy, romance, music and much more. Its superb cast relates to people of all ages, the stage design is absolutely stunning and you are guaranteed to be blown away by the beautiful costumes and slick dance moves. This show is totally current and captivating.
In conclusion, if you have not seen Britains Got Bhangra yet, you are seriously missing out. It's only at Watford Palace Theatre till the 19th of June, so I recommend you see it soon. It is absolutely brilliant and trust me, you will not regret it.
